3/2022: A woman died in San Jose, 3 months after being hit by a garbage truck on Feb 8th. The woman, crossing outside a marked crosswalk, was struck by a 2008 Peterbuilt garbage truck driver who cooperated with police. This is the 2nd fatal crash involving a garbage truck in San Jose this year and the 20th traffic death, with 8 being pedestrians.
