Wisconsin's REAL ID over 21 driver's license has won the "Best ID Card" award from the International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA). The award-winning design features Wisconsin State Capitol and State flag imagery and incorporates unique security elements, such as integrated cardholder data and transparent windows. The state was the first to implement this innovative design, which debuted in June 2023.
