The World Health Organization (WHO) member states decided to grant additional rights to Palestine, aligning its participation with the UN. The draft resolution received full support from 101 states, with only five opposing. The resolution called for Palestine to have a seat among member states, submit proposals, and be elected to the bureau of the General Session and main committees of the health assembly.
