Suspended DCP Abba Kyari released from detention after meeting bail conditions in drug cartel case.
Abba Kyari, the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, has been released from Kuje Custodial Centre in Abuja after spending 27 months in detention. Kyari's release comes after meeting his bail conditions set by a Federal High Court in Abuja. Kyari was initially arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in February 2022 on allegations of involvement with an international drug cartel.
