25 residents displaced, 1 firefighter injured, fire at Chambersburg apartment complex; cause under investigation.
A fire at a Chambersburg apartment complex on East Liberty Street displaced 25 residents and injured one firefighter. The fire, which broke out around 1:15am, was under control within 20 minutes. The injured firefighter was treated at Chambersburg Hospital and released. The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the state police fire marshal.
