Researchers at ENDO 2024 found that higher testosterone levels in men under 65 years old, who are overweight or obese, may lower the risk of type 2 diabetes. The study, conducted by the University of Adelaide, analyzed data from the MAILES Cohort and showed a protective effect of testosterone against type 2 diabetes development in this age group. However, this effect was not observed in men over 65.
