Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) launched an inquiry led by Chief Commissioner Corporate Tax Office Lahore, Abid Bodla, after several officers engaged in a fistfight over a share in tax refunds from a company. The fight involved officers allegedly receiving kickbacks for issuing refunds. The FBR has removed the officers involved in the incident and informed the Prime Minister's Office about the action taken in the alleged corruption case.
