New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who dislikes rats, has been issued a fifth rat infestation ticket for his Brooklyn property since January 2022. A city health inspector observed fresh rat droppings and a rat burrow at the property in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Adams, who has spent $7,000 on rat mitigation, can contest the ticket on July 7 before an Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings officer.
