Minnesota Wild hockey team releases long-time assistant coach Darby Hendrickson.
The Minnesota Wild hockey team has decided not to retain assistant coach Darby Hendrickson, who has been with the franchise since its inception in 2000. Hendrickson, a former player, joined the team's coaching staff in 2010 and worked with every head coach except for original coach Jacques Lemaire. Wild GM Bill Guerin thanked Hendrickson for his hard work and commitment to the team.
