Great Western Railway plans to restore direct Bristol Temple Meads-Oxford services for the first time in 20 years due to leisure travel demand.

Great Western Railway (GWR) plans to restore direct services between Bristol Temple Meads and Oxford for the first time in over 20 years in response to increased demand for leisure travel. From September 14th to December 14th, it will run two return Saturdays services between the cities as a pilot. The GWR will also introduce additional services on the London Paddington-Bristol Parkway route and to summer holiday destinations.
