Goa police, in collaboration with local NGO ARZ, have dismantled an international sex trafficking racket involving Ugandan women. A 31-year-old Ugandan man, Jojo Nakintu, was arrested, and two victims were rescued. The traffickers targeted economically vulnerable young single mothers from Uganda, promising jobs in Goa before forcing them into prostitution and seizing their passports and visas.
