Former Notre Dame QB Tyler Buchner rejoins Fighting Irish team as walk-on wide receiver.
Former Notre Dame starting QB Tyler Buchner is rejoining the Fighting Irish team as a walk-on wide receiver. Buchner was a starter for the 2022 season before missing 10 games due to injury. He later played reserve midfielder for Notre Dame's lacrosse team which won two national championships. Buchner announced his decision to return in an open letter to the Notre Dame fans.
