El Salvador authorities have disrupted a plot to plant bombs across the country ahead of President Nayib Bukele's inauguration on Saturday. The plot allegedly involved "veterans" of the 1980-1992 civil war and targeted gas stations, supermarkets, and government buildings. El Salvador's National Police arrested seven suspects, including a former congressman, and seized explosives during raids.
