Detroit Pistons and General Manager Troy Weaver have parted ways after the team hired Trajan Langdon as the new head of basketball operations. Weaver declined an offer to remain with the organization in a smaller role as an off-site scout. Langdon is expected to have "free rein" to make changes to both the front office and coaching staff, with team owner Tom Gores saying money is no object.
