Authorities believe Jacobo was caught in a love triangle involving his co-workers, Pablo Gutierrez-Morales, Vanessa Vera-Aguilar, and Jazmin Ruiz. The investigation revealed that the three suspects planned and executed the attack after Jacobo finished his shift.
