Chemist Warehouse co-founder Mario Verrocchi faces backlash from Mount Martha residents over plans to build a $18m, 16-bedroom coastal mansion with pool, cinema, two wine cellars, and tennis court, across five adjoining properties. Verrocchi and his brothers intend to demolish three existing houses to create double-storey buildings overlooking Port Phillip Bay, with separate addresses connected by communal areas.
