Australian researchers find precision medicine improves survival for high-risk childhood cancers.

Researchers from Australia found that precision medicine improves diagnosis and survival for children with high-risk cancers. By using molecular profiling, more accurate diagnoses and targeted treatments can be provided earlier, leading to better two-year progression-free survival in young cancer patients. These results will be presented at the annual conference of the European Society of Human Genetics.
