They have appealed their conviction for breaking and entering, as well as their 30-day prison sentence, which Animal Justice considers the only known prison sentence in Canadian history for a non-violent act of civil disobedience. The B.C. Court of Appeal is considering their final legal argument to avoid imprisonment.
