Port St. Lucie couple arrested for child neglect; two-year-old trapped in closet, 2-month-old hospitalized.
Port St. Lucie police arrested a couple, James Spiess and Rebecca Worthington, for child neglect after finding a two-year-old child trapped in a small closet and a 2-month-old baby needing hospitalization. Investigators discovered the two-year-old trapped inside a 2.5 ft by 8 ft closet with no light, and a 2-month-old baby with severe diaper rash. The couple was charged with two counts of child neglect each.
