67-year-old woman Tommie Ruth Jackson dies in a house fire in South Carolina after attempting to warm a sandwich in foil in her microwave. The fire quickly spread, and poor living conditions hindered extinguishing efforts. The State Fire Marshal's Office and Sumter Fire Department determined the cause of the fire was related to placing an aluminum foil wrapper in the microwave. The fire was ruled accidental.
