Former Dublin GAA star Diarmuid Connolly pleaded guilty to assaulting two men in an "unprovoked" New Year's Eve attack in Dublin District Court, where he was ordered to pay €2,000 compensation. The 36-year-old former footballer allegedly punched and dragged one of the victims along the ground, resulting in the ripping of a North Face jacket. Connolly's sentencing has been adjourned until June 27th.
