Windsor Police Service plans a 3-month pilot project, starting June 3, equipping 26 frontline officers with body-worn microphones & in-car cameras. The devices will automatically record during emergency calls and vehicle stops, aiming to enhance safety, improve evidence gathering, and provide greater transparency. Compliant with Privacy Commissioner of Ontario's guidelines, data will be assessed to determine feasibility for wider use.
