The Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA), comprising Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the UK, plans to incorporate fifth-generation capabilities, such as F-35 fighter jets and P-8 Poseidon aircraft, into their joint military drills. The decision was reached during the 12th FPDA Defence Ministers' Meeting, held in Singapore. The alliance is preparing to expand its capabilities to include non-conventional fields such as counter-terrorism, maritime security, and humanitarian and disaster relief.
