A construction worker died after a 9-story fall from scaffolding in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood on Thursday morning. The accident occurred at 400 Melwood Avenue, and the worker was found with severe injuries at the scene. He was pronounced dead at 8:01 a.m. Police and OSHA are investigating the incident, and Melwood Avenue is closed between 450 Melwood Avenue and Baum Boulevard.
