South Korean DJ NewJeansNim's performances at Singapore's Club Rich were cancelled due to his use of Buddhist soundtracks in his act. The club and DJ could not agree on changing the soundtracks without religious elements. The Singapore Buddhist Federation opposed the performances, and ministers Edwin Tong and K. Shanmugam stated that acts denigrating religion are not acceptable in Singapore. Patrons were promised full refunds.
