An accident on I-35 near Liberty spilled potatoes onto the highway, leading to traffic being diverted onto 69 Highway. No significant injuries were reported from the crash involving a truck and small trailer hauling potatoes. The southbound lanes of I-35 were closed until the spill was cleaned up, with the roadway reopened at 1:30 PM. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Liberty Police Department responded to the incident.
