Pakistan and Kuwait agreed to sign a $25 million loan agreement for the Mohmand Dam on June 3, as part of the 5th Session of the Pakistan-Kuwait Joint Ministerial Commission. The meeting, held from May 28th to 30th in Kuwait, also discussed the Kuwait Fund's potential involvement in financing the Diamer Bhasha Dam and the financing request for the Kachhi Canal project. The two nations committed to enhancing collaboration across various sectors and signed MoUs in the fields of industrial cooperation and engineering.
