NASA's TEMPO instrument provides high-quality, near real-time air quality data at neighborhood levels for North America.
NASA has released new high-quality, near real-time air quality data from its TEMPO (Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution) instrument. The data, available at NASA's Atmospheric Science Data Center, offers detailed observations of air pollution at neighborhood levels and covers North America from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Coast. The TEMPO mission collects hourly daytime scans of the atmosphere, detecting pollution within the troposphere and helping to track air quality for the benefit of humanity.
