1.25 million tourists visit Kashmir by May 30th, setting a new tourist arrival record.

Kashmir is set to break its tourist arrival records with over 1.25 million tourists visiting by May 30th, as local hotels, guest houses, homestays, houseboats, and other lodging facilities are fully booked till mid-June. The tourism department predicts the year 2024 will see even higher arrivals. Improved law and order and peace in the region have encouraged foreign tourists to visit in greater numbers.
