Rogers Communications Inc. has begun installing infrastructure to provide 5G cellular service in TTC subway tunnels, expanding to the remaining 36 km of unconnected tunnels on Line 2 between Kennedy and Warden stations. The company's 5G network is already available in every subway station and major downtown tunnels between St. George, Bloor-Yonge, and Union stations. Rogers aims to improve connectivity for the largest transit system in Canada.
