Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport grounded most of its departures on Thursday due to severe weather, impacting nearly 1,200 flights. Flight Aware reported 135 cancellations and 1,026 delays, with 60% of departures classified as "very late". Severe thunderstorms, including potential high winds, hail, tornadoes and flash flooding, were expected to continue through the early afternoon.
