Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu, awarded Nigerian footballer Terem Moffi N10 million for his significant contributions to the national team and the state during the Africa Cup of Nations. Moffi, who plays for Nice of France, also donated N1 million to Pelican Stars FC and provided 25 balls each to Pelican Stars FC and Calabar Rovers. Governor Otu praised Moffi's representation of Cross River and youths, with the governor promising continued support for youths and sports development.
