Michael Flatley, the Riverdance and Lord of the Dance creator, is opposing an insurance company's attempt to refer his €30m damage claim against Castlehyde House, his Cork mansion, to out-of-court arbitration. Flatley alleges that Hiscox S A is trying to rewrite his consumer household policy into a commercial one to rely on the Arbitration Act. The High Court has reserved its decision on this matter.
