Chinese scientists achieve speed breeding of rice in desert by utilizing advanced greenhouse technologies in ten thousand acre greenhouses in Xinjiang. This innovative method nearly halves the rice growth cycle, resulting in a harvest in just two months. The Institute of Urban Agriculture of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences led this project, building on earlier successes in Chengdu's plant factory.
