Truck manufacturer Amrep Manufacturing Company, a waste collection truck producer and subsidiary of Wastequip, plans to add 170 jobs in Rowan County, North Carolina, investing $21 million for a new 80,000-square-foot facility. The expansion will focus on manufacturing front load and automated side load trucks for curbside collection. The new site is adjacent to Amrep's current Salisbury facility.
