Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. has signed a 30-year concession agreement with Tanzania Ports Authority to operate Dar es Salaam Port's Container Terminal 2, marking its entry into the Tanzanian market. The deal aligns with Adani's ambition to become one of the largest port operators globally by 2030. The Adani Ports-led consortium, including AD Ports Group and East Harbour Terminals Ltd, has acquired a 95% stake in Tanzania International Container Terminal Services Ltd for $39.5 million.
