Zimbabwean businesswoman and philanthropist, Fortunate Kufakunesu, has won a prestigious global award for her trailblazing work in uplifting women and the girl child. The award, part of the Women Changing the World Awards, was held in London and organized by Zimbabwean-American women empowerment advocate, Tererai Trent. Kufakunesu was recognized in particular for her dedication to empowering underprivileged young girls and women in Zimbabwe through her Lily of Valleys Home of Hope.
