23-year-old Raymond Isaiah Shepard Jr. was arrested in Leland for a stabbing incident on May 29, at Moss Court. Charged with first-degree burglary and assault with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, the victim, known to Shepard, was found with a stab wound to the upper torso and is in stable condition. Shepard is held without bond at the county jail, awaiting a first appearance hearing.
