Beth Hammack, a 30-year veteran of Goldman Sachs, has been appointed as the next president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. She will replace Loretta Mester, who is stepping down on June 30th after a decade in the role. Hammack, who has held various leadership roles in global finance, treasury, and trading, will join the bank on August 21st and will vote on monetary policy decisions this year.
