Sustainable energy storage firm Torus has signed a deal with Gardner Group to provide 26 MWh of energy storage capacity for commercial real estate properties. Under the agreement, Torus will install its Torus Station systems, which combine advanced battery and flywheel energy storage systems, at multiple Gardner Group properties. The project is anticipated to begin in Q4 2024 and complete by Q1 2026, with the capacity to store and dispatch nearly 26 MWh of energy, equivalent to powering nearly 1,000 homes for a full day.
