Pakistan and Azerbaijan agreed to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and connectivity during a meeting between their foreign ministers.

Pakistan and Azerbaijan aim to fully utilise the potential of their friendly ties, agreeing to enhance cooperation in multiple sectors including trade, investment, energy, and connectivity. This comes after a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Azeri Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who discussed bilateral ties and cooperation as well as international matters. Both countries also intend to strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, connectivity, energy, and defence sectors, and increase bilateral investment, especially in the energy sector.
