Ireland's Wild Atlantic Nature project wins Natura 2000 Award in the "working together for nature" category, linking farmers' agri-environmental payments to their land's ecological condition. Over 820 farmers across 63,000 hectares participated, with €3m in direct payments. The project informed the development of the Agri-Climate Rural Environmental Scheme Cooperation Project, now with 20,000 farmers and a €750m budget.
