Inmate Bradley Wade Koester, serving a life sentence for second-degree murder, died in custody at Pacific Institution Regional Treatment Centre on May 27.
On May 27, an inmate named Bradley Wade Koester, serving an indeterminate sentence for second-degree murder since April 26, 1984, died while in custody at the Pacific Institution Regional Treatment Centre in Abbotsford, B.C. Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has reported the death and notified Koester's next of kin. The cause of death has not been released, and CSC is currently reviewing the circumstances and has notified the BC Coroners Service.
