George Mason University's College of Visual and Performing Arts receives a $5M gift from the Peterson Family Foundation, which will be used to modernize the Center for the Arts, including its popular concert hall, built in 1990. The Peterson Family Foundation was established by Milt Peterson, founder of The Peterson Co. real estate developer, and his wife Carolyn. The concert hall auditorium will be renamed after the modernization.
