Zimbabwe's NRZ receives $615M for railway network revitalization, with $500M from China International Group and $115M from Afreximbank.
Zimbabwe's National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) will receive a $615 million boost for railway network revitalization. Of the amount, $500 million will come from China International Group and $115 million from Afreximbank, as announced by Transport and Infrastructural Development minister Felix Mhona. The funds will be used to modernize the country's 2,700-kilometer railway network, including wagons and locomotives.
