18-year-old Alexiss Adams from Spring Creek, NV died in a car crash on May 24 at the intersection of State Route 227 and Lower Lamoille Road, north of Spring Creek. Adams, driving a Subaru, failed to yield to a Kenworth service truck, resulting in a collision. The truck driver avoided the crash but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
