Taoiseach Simon Harris says motor fuel hikes are under review and refuses to confirm if an August price increase will go ahead. The current reduced rates of excise duty might be "rolled over". Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald urged the government not to proceed with measures raising fuel prices. Harris responded by accusing Sinn Féin of misleading people about the planned petrol and diesel increases.
