A suspicious backpack found near the DC Superior Court building led to street closures and an investigation by the police on Wednesday. The area was cordoned off with crime scene tape and the D.C. Police department's Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit was on the scene. The all-clear was given around 8:30 a.m., with no injuries reported. The incident caused scheduling issues inside the courthouse.
