California-based retailer Ross Stores plans to build a $450M, 850-worker warehouse in North Carolina's Randolph County. The new distribution center, set to be completed by 2026, will create jobs from 2027-2031 and will be the ninth distribution center for the company. Ross Dress for Less, owned by Ross Stores, operates over 1,700 locations in the US, making it the largest off-price apparel and home fashion chain in the country.
