Norfolk Southern appoints Claude Mongeau, former CN CEO, as its independent Chair of the Board, effective immediately. Mongeau will also lead the Executive Committee. The company also named Francesca DeBiase, former McDonald's supply chain exec, as Governance and Nominating Committee chair, and Richard Anderson, ex-Amtrak and Delta Air Lines CEO, as Human Capital Management and Compensation Committee chair. These appointments aim to improve Norfolk Southern's service, network operations, and productivity.
